Drain Repairs

The right repair for the right problem.

Damaged drains don't fix themselves. Cracks, fractures, root ingress, and collapsed sections all worsen over time — eventually leading to sinkholes, structural damage, and costly emergency works. Uriel Infrastructure provides a full range of drain repair solutions, from targeted no-dig repairs to full excavation and replacement.

Every repair starts with a CCTV survey to precisely identify the defect. We then recommend the most appropriate, cost-effective solution — and deliver it properly.

Patch Lining (No-Dig)

For isolated cracks or fractures, patch lining is the fastest and least disruptive solution. A resin-impregnated patch is installed at the defect point using a winch-and-inflate system, curing in place to form a structural repair. No excavation, no mess — and the repair can withstand normal operating pressures within hours.

Pipe Relining (CIPP)

Where multiple defects are present, or the pipe is structurally compromised along a run, cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining provides a complete structural renewal of the pipe from the inside. A flexible liner is impregnated with epoxy resin, inserted into the existing pipe, inflated to shape, and heat-cured. The result is a smooth new pipe within the old — with a design life of 50+ years.

Excavation & Pipe Replacement

Where relining is not feasible — for example, severely collapsed sections, root-damaged pipes with heavy deformation, or failed junctions — we carry out open-cut excavation and full pipe replacement. We work to minimise surface disruption, reinstate surfaces to original condition, and coordinate any required road or footway permits.

Root Cutting & Descaling

Root ingress is one of the most common causes of recurring blockages in older properties. We use mechanical root-cutting equipment to remove root growth from within the pipe, restoring flow capacity. Where the intrusion is through defective joints, we follow up with lining to prevent re-ingress.
